On 5th december 2018 Ljubljana listened to the Slovenian AlpSib Talk. The Talk was hosted by the Slovenian Days of the Social Economy, which gathers people interested in and working in the field of social economy in Slovenia.
The talk was given by Ms Renata Brkić from Feelsgood Capital Partners, which cover the area of Croatia and Slovenia. Title of her talk was: »From corporate manager via social entrepreneur to social impact investor«.
Ms Brkić gave a motivational speech about her career path, which brought her to the point that she is considering launcing a SIB. She showed the audience why is impact investing important and beneficial for solving rising issues people of all generations face. Since SIBs and impact investing are the topics that are still not fully explored and recognised in Slovenia, the speech did not focus on SIBs in general, but tried to illustrate and enthuse the audience about one specific part of social impact bonds –the role and importance of social impact investors.
